ジョニー･ウィンターの1969年のメジャー・デビュー・アルバム。
　
アンクル・ジョン・ターナー(ds)と後にスティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーン＆ダブル・トラブルのベーシストとなるトミー・シャノンの他、エドガー・ウィンター(p,as)に、黒人ブルースマン、ウィリー・ディクソン(b)、ウォルター・シェイキン・ホートン(harp)が参加。アコギ/スライドの弾き語り「Dallas」、ホーン入りでタイトなリズムで聞かせる「Good Morning Little Schoolgirl」、ゴスペル･ブルースの「I'll Drown In My Tears」等収録。
　
セカンド以降はロック色が濃くなりますが、ストレートにブルース/ロックを演奏した名盤ファーストでお薦めできます。「Dallas」のような弾き語りができるロック･ギタリストは他にいません。
